For starters this is one of the coolest designs for a discreet vaporizer. It looks like your average asthma inhaler. Nobody would even take a second glance at you if you pulled this out in public and took a hit
The Puffit heats dry blends using a sophisticated internal heating element and a gold-plated chamber that is very easy to clean and maintain. The vaporizer features an automatic shut-off function that kicks in after 90 seconds of use in order to conserve the life of the rechargeable battery. The Puffit is ideal for vaporizer novices thanks to its 8 different rotary temperature settings that range from 250-430 degrees Fahrenheit. The Puffit’s internal temperature sensors and microprocessor help regulate the heat so you are guaranteed to get precise vaporization from your blends.

The Puffit does not have the greatest battery life. You won't get by on one charge all day if you are not near a power source to recharge it. And you can't swap out a new battery like you could with some of the pen style designs.

The latest innovation from Karma, the DaVinci Vaporizer is a new and advanced pocket-size vaporizer. Understanding that portability is essential, the DaVinci team set out to create the most efficient portable vaporizer ever designed. There are a variety of herbs and essential oils that people want to vaporize, each requiring a specific temperature to produce vapor yet not produce smoke or carcinogens. This battery operated Vaporizer is capable of satisfying all those needs. It features a digital temperature control system that allows the user to adjust the vaporizing temperature accordingly. The DaVinci Vaporizer is small enough to fit inside your pocket and can be used nearly anywhere. It also includes a 2 Year Warranty that covers any defect related to the heating element.
DaVinci Vaporizer – What We Like
The DaVinci Vaporizer has the ability to set temperature, like on the larger non portable options. While the DaVinci is in your pocket, there is no worry of overheating because you need to activate 2 buttons with opposing motions to turn up the heat. The temp gauge can be read in Fahrenheit or Celsius depending on what school you come from and we didn't print the obvious On/Off lettering because this is your personal unit and once you've used it, you don’t need an instruction graphic to take away from the James Bond look.
The DaVinci is capable of vaporizing both herbs and oils/concentrates. Simply fill the oil cartridge with your favorite oils or concentrates and enjoy the robust vapor production.

A vaporizer is a device used to release the active ingredients of plant material or to release the therapeutic compounds. Remember when you were a kid and had a cold, and your mother put Vick's in the humidifier so you'd inhale the menthol? Well this is the same concept really.
As a healthier alternative to smoking, vaporizers heat the material at a much lower temperature, (when compared to smoking) so that the active compounds contained in the plant material produce an aromatic vapor (instead of smoke). Rather than burning the plant material, which can produce numerous harmful by-products, this vapor contains virtually zero particulate matter and significantly reduced noxious gases. By avoiding combustion (smoke), the user is able to achieve the same desired effects without the harmful side-effects of smoking.
Vaporization Temps
- 325 - 350 = Light vapor For lower moisture levels
- 350 - 375 = Optimal Vaporization Temperature

Bubblers / Water Filters
Bubbler – Bubblers are intricate glass pieces that attach to a Vaporizer or Water Device and provide the user with extra water filtration.
Water Filtration Adapter – Water Filtration Adapters are simple glass attachments that allow the user to enjoy the benefits of vaporizing while using their own water device. This method allows the user to have the dual-benefit of water filtration and vaporizing.
Glass
Glass on Glass – This term typically refers to a connection that utilizes only glass. Often referred to as Ground Glass connections, most people prefer glass because it doesn't release any harmful toxins or awful smells. The connection on most hands free vaporizers from the heating element to the whip is often comprised of a glass on glass (ground glass) connection.
Ground Glass – The ground glass connection allows the user to have a “hands free” experience while vaporizing, meaning the user does NOT have to hold the whip over the heating element. These connections appear “frosty” and ensure an airtight connection for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
Grinders
3-Piece Acrylic Grinder – These grinders are your basic grinding device. It’s capable of grinding your blends and also comes with a small storage compartment.
4-Piece Acrylic Grinder – These grinders have an extra compartment for collecting the residue that’s produced while grinding your blends.
Heating
Heater Cover – The heater cover is the glass piece that surrounds the heating element. It provides protection and a safe point of contact for the whip. Heater Covers can either be ground glass (Hands Free) or standard.
Heating Element – The heating element is the heart of any vaporizer. It provides the heating source for the vaporization process. Most heating elements are made from ceramic because of the quick heat-up time and durability. Other common heating elements include aluminum and steel.
Oil Diffusers / Aromatherapy Bowls
Oil Diffuser / Aromatherapy Bowl – Oil Diffusers and Aromatherapy Bowls allow the user to enjoy their favorite essential oils with the Vaporizer. These are typically very simple glass pieces that are designed to hold oil while heat is applied to the bottom.
Whip Kits
Standard Whip Kit – These whips can be used with ANY Vaporizer. Unlike the Hands Free Model, the user must hold the Standard Whip over the heating element while vaporizing. The Whip Kit includes 3 pieces – the wand, tubing and mouthpiece.
Hands Free (Ground Glass) Whip Kit – These whips can only be used with Vaporizers that utilize ground glass connections. The ground glass connection allows the user to have a "hands free" experience while vaporizing, meaning the user does NOT have to hold the whip over the heating element. Most Hands Free Whip Kits are 18mm and are inter-compatible with other Vaporizers. However, the VaporBrothers units utilize an 11mm that is much smaller. The Whip Kit includes 3 pieces – the wand, tubing and mouthpiece.
2-Piece Whip Kit – These Whip Kits break apart into two separate pieces, allowing the user to change the screens effortlessly. The most popular 2-Piece Whip Kit is the EZ Change Whip-Kit from VaporBrothers. These Whips come in both Hands Free and Standard Versions.
Wand – The glass wand is the most vital part of the “whip.” This glass piece holds the blends while they are being vaporized. Most wands utilize a stainless steel screen for the blends to sit on. Wands either have a Hands Free (Ground Glass) or Standard Connection for connecting to the heating element.
Vaporizer Types
Portable Vaporizers – Portable Vaporizers are exactly that. Portable. These compact and lightweight Vaporizers are made for Vapor Enthusiasts on the go. Portable Vaporizers can be used almost anywhere and are very simple to operate. Many of these units, like the Iolite WISPR, come in a large variety of colors. They typically use lithium ion batteries, alkaline batteries, flame or butane and some even utilize car chargers/adaptors. Most of these units require no cords or wires. If you are looking to vaporize discreetly, these units are probably your best option.
Digital Vaporizers – Digital Vaporizers provide a digital display featuring the temperature or status of your Vaporizer. Some digital vaporizers display both the desired and actual operating temperature. Thus, a digital vaporizer provides enables the user to obtain accurate and precise control over the vaporizing temperature of your blends. Most of these units are able to display the temperature in both F or C.
Forced-Air Vaporizers – Forced-Air Vaporizers represent the new wave of Vaporizers. These high-quality Vaporizers utilize a Forced-Air system, which is quite simply an internal fan that propels hot air over your blends. This process creates a perfect vapor stream that can be filled in a bag or enjoyed through a whip attachment.
Hands Free Vaporizers – Hands Free Vaporizers allow the user to enjoy the vaporization process without having to hold the whip attachment in place. These units typically utilize a ground glass connection to achieve the hands free connection and provide the user with a more enjoyable vaporizing experience.
Standard Vaporizers – Standard Vaporizers are the original style of Vaporizer. They typically utilize a ceramic or steel heating element and require the user to pull hot air over the blends through a whip attachment. These Vaporizers allow the user to maintain maximum control over the Vaporizing process.
Vaporizing Methods
Convection – Convection-style vaporizers are the most common type of vaporizers. The heating element, typically ceramic or aluminum, does NOT make direct contact with the blends. Instead, hot air is pulled or pushed from the heating element and transferred over your blends. This provides for the most efficient and effective vaporization process.
Conduction – Conduction-style vapes are the older generation of Vaporizers. The heating element, typically a metal plate of some sort, makes direct contact with the blends to produce the vaporization process.
